Celestial Large Butterfly Seconds

All Burleigh pottery is handmade, which means variations in glaze or pattern can occasionally occur. Pieces that don’t meet our strict quality standards are classed as seconds. The imperfections can vary from piece to piece, but these will always be cosmetic imperfections rather than functional ones.

This handcrafted butterfly is designed for wall display, with a recessed groove on the back to make hanging easy. Its sculpted wings are rich in relief detail, capturing the intricate texture of real butterfly wings with a layered, dimensional finish.

The Celestial palette draws from night sky and beyond, with deep purples and luminous blues. Multiple reactive glazes interact in the kiln, creating one-of-a-kind patterns unique to each ornament.
