According to government guidelines our retail locations are now close, however we are still working in our factory and orders placed via our website will still be shipped.
Thank you for your support over these past few months, we appreciate your patience and understanding in that your orders may currently take slightly longer to arrive than expected.
We will update you again on any changes as soon as we can. In the meantime, be sure to stay in touch via our social channels. We would love to see lots of pictures of how you’re spending your time staying home and using your Poole pieces.

To all of our loyal customers, we would like to thank you for your continued support, we are extremely grateful for those of you who have messaged us with kind words and support over this past few days.
Here at Poole, our number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers, of our staff and the communities that we live and work in. We have kept our Factory working for as long as possible, however under government guidance we have taken the decision to temporarily halt production in our Factory due to the unfolding situation surrounding Covid-19.
We encourage you to continue to place your orders through our website, and whilst stock is available these will be dispatched, however payment will not be taken for orders where stock isn't available and we will be in contact with you to confirm your order and take payment as soon as we reopen our doors to our beloved factory.
This has been a hard decision to make and will only be a temporary measure taken, until further notice.
Over the years, our mission has been to serve you, and rest assured that will continue. We may be closing our doors at our home, Middleport Pottery, but when the time is right, we look forward to continue to make the pottery we know our customers love. Our craftsmen will return, and we will continue to craft our pots with the same love that we always have done.
We thank you again for your ongoing support and wish you all nothing but health, stay safe and we would like to encourage you where possible to take care of your local communities and each other.
We understand that people’s uncertainty and anxiety levels may be somewhat heightened over the coming weeks. Remember to appreciate the small pieces of joy in these uncertain times. Embrace the downtime however you feel is best for you. Tough times will pass and soon, this will become a distant memory – we are in this together, let's watch the beauty that there is to see from our homes. The view from our window, the flowers blooming in the spring sunshine.
This is not “Goodbye”, this is just “We’ll see you soon”.

A few things we should mention…
- Our products are lovingly handmade, and it takes time for us to craft them. As soon as we are able to do so, our factory will be up and running again ready to serve you and we will be in touch as soon as this happens to give you an estimated delivery date. Please be aware that unless the item is currently stocked, this could take a minimum of 8 weeks
- Our customer services team are working from home to stay safe and follow government guidelines. If you need to get in touch, please bear with us and we will get back to you just as soon as we can
- Don’t forget, there are still ways to support our business. Like, share and interact with us on our social channels, not just ours but all of the brands that you love. Those brands need you more than ever right now. So tell your friends, write that review online, buy that gift card and share your pictures.
We know that thinking about returning products right now is something that you can well do without, so any Poole orders placed from 1st March 2020 will qualify for an extended returns period of 6 months with immediate effect. Our standard returns policy rules still apply, but we hope this will make things a little easier. The 6 month returns period covers all Poole products brought from our website.
